It was Christmas and my boyfriend and I had agreed that since we hadn′t been dating that long that we would exchange gifts but very small gifts. I went over to his apartment in the afternoon loaded with goodies to eat and a small gift for him. They offered men s intercollegiate soccer basketball baseball and cross country. They also offered women s intercollegiate soccer basketball softball cross country swimming and field hockey. These sports made no money and there was even talk of cutting them because they didn t generate sufficient revenue.
